Club Objectives
NAME
The name of the Club shall be The Slovensky Cuvac Club of the United States of America, Inc. also known as Cuvac USA, and hereinafter called the Club.
OBJECTIVES
- to encourage and promote the quality of the purebred Slovensky Cuvac and to do all possible to bring the Breed’s natural qualities to perfection;
- to encourage the organization of independent local Slovensky Cuvac Specialty Dog Clubs in those localities where there are sufficient fanciers of the Breed;
- to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The Slovensky Cuvac Club of the United States of America, Inc. as the only standard of excellence by which the Breed shall be judged;
- to promote the public’s knowledge and appreciation of the Slovensky Cuvac;
- to conduct this Club as one that promotes good fellowship and sportsmanship as well as to provide for the pleasure and recreation of its members;
- to provide education appropriate to the needs of owners, breeders, judges, potential owners and all others with an interest in the breed and specifically to educate potential new owners regarding specific care requirements before Slovensky Cuvac dogs are placed in a home;
- to provide a venue for owners and breeders to exchange information;
- to promote specialty shows, performance and companion events; social activities and opportunities, including non-competition events and activities, for all members;
- to further understanding of the diseases, defects, injuries and other ailments that afflict the Slovensky Cuvac and to educate owners regarding genetic data to discourage poor breeding practices;
- to advocate for honesty and integrity in all matters concerning the Slovensky Cuvac.
CLUB OPERATION
Cuvac USA shall not be conducted or operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainder or residue from dues or donations to the club shall inure to the benefit of any member or individual.
